About Rossbeigh

Rossbeigh is a long, sandy strand on the Iveragh peninsula, looking across Dingle Bay toward the Dingle peninsula. The beach is part of the Ring of Kerry tourist trail and one of the more accessible south Kerry surf spots.

The beach faces W and catches Atlantic swells wrapping into Dingle Bay. Works on W swells with E offshore winds. Mid tide is best. Quieter than the Dingle peninsula spots on the opposite shore; surf school sometimes operates here in season.
