About Killahoey

Killahoey is a sandy west-facing strand near Dunfanaghy in north Donegal. It catches plenty of Atlantic swell and is one of several quiet beaches in the Sheephaven / Horn Head area.

Works on W to NW swells with E offshore winds. Mid tide is best. Quiet, scenic, exposed.
