About Culdaff

Culdaff is a sheltered north-facing bay on the Inishowen peninsula's north coast, near the village of the same name. It's a small, family-friendly beach that catches N to NE swells - a different window from the rest of west Donegal, which makes it useful when the standard W swell isn't running.

Mid tide is the sweet spot. Surf school in season; otherwise a self-sufficient location. Culdaff is best on a clean small to medium N swell with a S offshore - it doesn't handle big size, but on the right small day it's the easiest spot to surf in Inishowen.
