About Tullan Strand

Tullan Strand is a long, north-west-facing beach a short drive north of Bundoran. It picks up swell more directly than Bundoran's town beaches, runs multiple peaks along its length, and is typically less crowded than the headline spots in town.

The beach faces slightly more north than Bundoran Main, so it catches a touch more swell when other spots are small. Mid tide is usually the sweet spot. The cliff and dune backdrop makes it one of the more scenic surf settings on the Donegal coast.
